Situated in Parma, Greci is located in the heart of the Italian Food Valley.  Greci has been committed to the transformation of tomatoes into pulp and concentrate since 1923.  This long experience has given rise to competence, culture and a passion for quality, which has become a fundamental objective of the company.  Further development saw the introduction of base products such as vegetables, meat, fish and cheese.  The range now consists of over 250 products that have been specifically designed for restaurants, luxury hotels and catering centres.

 Each summer Greci produces 25 million kilos of tomato pulp!  The cultivation of the Prontofresco tomato follows the "Emilia Romana" region production regulations, which are recognised all over Europe and are Certified Quality controlled.  These regulations prohibit the use of genetically modified organisms and define rigid parameters regarding cultivation techniques.  The tomato is processed within 12 hours of being picked.  Manual and electronic selection chooses perfectly ripe fruit without a blemish.  Sophisticated technology enables the natural flavour and perfume of the fresh tomatoes to be kept intact, guaranteeing full flavour and high yield. 

 Quality packaging guarantees optimal conservation.  The factory has 6 specialty production lines with a capacity of producing millions of products every year.

 Greci has been certified ISO 9001-2000.  The quality of raw materials is supported by the rigorous application of HACCP methods.  The use of strict hygiene principles is a high priority for Greci.
